Is Thrice Christian?

I was just wondering if Thrice is a christian band?
They're lyrics are from the bible but they don't claim to be christian rock.

my understanding is that dustin and the other guitar player are solid christian guys. i've heard the brothers (bass and drums) are christians as well. and yes, a fair amount of their lyrics come pretty straight from scripture (see most of vheissu, dustins solo album, and the earth disc. i'm not familiar with their earlier stuff). i'd say their (dustin's, who is the singer, writes most all of the lyrics) lyrics are stronger than most "christian" rock groups lyrics. and they freaking rock musically!

I don't really think it matters whether a band considers themself a Christian band or not.
It just depends on the lyrics and people behind the lyrics.

he pastors a church in Michigan called mars hill. not to be confused with the mars hill in seattle which is pastored by mark driscoll. rob is an amazing communicator with some interesting ideas.

I'm a poet, and I find that a lot of things I listen to, or read in this instance, give me a lot of the inspiration for my work. Whether some or all of the members are Christian or not, doesn't really make them a "Christian band" - not Thrice at least. They probably just ended up getting their influence from the bible. They also do a lot of remakes of songs by other bands. All that matters is that Thrices' music is amazing. :]
